Five ways to help
Support Apex Trust.
Supporting Apex Trust
Apex Trust relies on donations from voluntary and charitable sources to help sustain its projects. We look for support from individuals (through Gift Aid and legacies), from companies and from grant-making trusts. We are only able to continue with our unique service to ex-offenders because of the generosity of our supporters. Please join them by giving to Apex - today, if possible. Thank you
Five ways to give
By a single donation with, if appropriate, a Gift Aid declaration*
By a banker's standing order (monthly, quarterly or yearly) with,
if appropriate, a Gift Aid declaration*By using your Charities Aid Foundation CharityCard
By a gift of shares or property
By a legacy
Gift Aid
*The Gift Aid scheme is appropriate to donations made by people who pay income tax or capital gains tax. The Inland Revenue assumes that the donations are being made from income that has been, or will be, taxed and so refunds tax at the standard rate (22%) to Apex. This means that, if you give £780 to Apex, Apex will reclaim £220 from the Inland Revenue, making your gift worth £1,000. If you are a higher rate (40%) taxpayer, you will be able to reclaim £180 for yourself, so Apex's £1,000 will have cost you only £600. Giving at a discount - what a bargain! Gift Aid can apply to any size of gift at any time of the year, provided that you are liable for enough tax for Apex to reclaim. To give by Gift Aid, print a Gift Aid form, fill it in and send it back to us. Thank you for your generosity. If you require Adobe Reader on your PC, please download
Charitycard
You can use your Charities Aid Foundation CharityCard to make donations to Apex. If you would like to discuss your donation pleaseTelephone: 01744 612 898 Email: sthelens@apextrust.com Or write to: CEO at Apex Charitable Trust, 13-15 North Road, St. Helens, Merseyside WA10 2TW, with the details of your CharityCard and the amount you wish to give. We will contact the Charities Aid Foundation, which will transfer your donation to our bank account. Alternatively, donate securely online through our online donation facility or through the Charities Aid Foundation website, which will transfer your donation to our bank account. (NB: These donations will not be eligible for Gift Aid).
Gift of shares and property
A gift of shares or property, transferred direct to Apex Charitable Trust, can result in considerable tax advantages for the giver, perhaps providing a greater tax concession than is available by giving money under the Gift Aid scheme.
Bankers Order
Another way of supporting the work carried out by Apex Trust is through a banker‘s order for monthly, quarterly or annual payments. This provides a regular source of support. Thank you in advance for your generosity.
